Brick by Brick- Building a New Foundation

We Personal Growth & Development

Heraclitus once said, “No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it is not the same river, and he is not the same man.”

After 7 years of taking care of my mother and being closely involved with the caregiving community, I have witnessed our “job” as a unique and precious opportunity to evolve into a better, more compassionate human being.

There is no doubt the exhaustion and overwhelm we experience depletes us to the point of simply trying to get through the day.  Getting from the day is not even a consideration, much less a priority.

Personal growth and development at IFYF will help us better understand our own set of values and be willing and open to discover a new idea that resonates within your heart.

The integrity you have demonstrated by staying and caring for a loved one with dementia is a significant quality I respect and recognize, and why I created Brick by Brick within IFYF.   Learning to do our best from education, surrender, kindness and love is always the right choice, and I believe we are capable of moving in a direction that is different and better than we were yesterday.

Please check back often for free, downloadable PDF’s available on specific topics, with easy, step-by-step methods to help move us closer to healthier practices for the body, mind and soul.
